McLean & Co Interiors was founded by myself, Juliana McLean,
With over 5 years’ experience in property styling and soft furnishings and based on the Mornington Peninsula, my adoration for modern, Australian, coastal design was cemented. In the family focussed stage of life, I understand all too well that good design is key to any functional home, and that entertaining family and friends at home is important to every client I’ve ever had. Fabric and texture are my bread and butter, and you will find me swooning over linen samples and playing with texture variations all day long if I could.
Being a country girl at heart, we made the move back to Central Victoria where I began focussing heavily on modern farmhouse / provincial farmhouse designs. The vintage aspects of this style really pulled me back to childhood days in my old Victorian in Kyneton, growing up with ornate details and flair.
As a typical Libra, I enjoy creating beauty from scratch and am very balanced in my design approach - ensuring every element of a home is appeasing the others. To know me outside of my work, is to know I’m a family focussed person, who loves pilates, long walks, beach visits and cosy weekends in.
